Siding in the Dayton area
Siding is a system, not just the panels you see. I strip the old material, fix what's rotted, wrap the walls, and flash every window and door before a single board goes up.
Signs it's time
- Warped, cracked or loose panels
- Paint that won't stay on wood siding
- Soft or rotted sheathing underneath
- Mold or mildew that keeps coming back
- Faded siding that dates the whole house
What's included
- Old siding removed and walls inspected
- House wrap and flashing around every opening
- James Hardie fiber cement or Mastic vinyl
- Matching trim, corners and accessories
- Daily cleanup and a final walk-through with me

Common questions
Hardie or vinyl?
Hardie is heavier, more durable and fire-resistant, and costs more. Vinyl is low-maintenance and budget-friendly. I'll price both.
Can siding go over my old siding?
Sometimes, but I'd rather remove it so I can see and fix what's underneath.
How long does a siding job take?
Most homes take about one to two weeks, depending on size and weather.
